Swimming...

"This little girl, Kaley, deserves special mention for the test on 19/3/2013. She passed her stage 1 test on that day. At just around 3 years and 9 months old, she stands her ground with peers around twice her age, towering over her during the test. Kaley started learning when she was 2 plus. Her positive attitude and dare to try behaviour with above average psycho-motor skills help her to attain this achievement. Her frontcrawl, although not perfect, is excellent for her age. She does not doggy paddle in the water and swim a stroke that all will be able to recognise as frontcrawl. Many kids at her age would probably have not yet put their heads underwater.

There are many lessons that we can learn from her. Attitude is the most important in learning. We must be willing to try (and not cry). Never constrain our limits. If we do not believe that it can be done, then we will not try and if we do not try to then we will never do it. That's why Albert Einstein said this “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” Give your mind room to roam and wonders will happen. In learning, one can never be too contented. I believe in N + 1 in learning. Always take 1 step more and make yourself a better and stronger person than of yesterday. Everyone progress at a different rate but as long as you try to be better today than you were yesterday then you will always improve.

Good job, Kaley!"
